NID Entrance Exam
NID Entrance Exam Eligibilty:NID - 12th passed OR will appear in any stream -Arts, science, commerce etc. (Entarnce Exam Registration start in September)
NID DAT Prelims Exam - in December of 100 marks 40 marks for Design Apptitude & 60 marks for Drawing & Time - 3hrs , No negative marking . Its evaluate students design aptitude, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Prelims Result declare in March OR April. Only top 1.5 times (around top 700) canditate will be eligible for mains Exam.
NID DAT Main Exam - (Studio Test, Portfolio and Interview) in April of 100 marks & Time - 3hrs. Its practical aptitude and suitability for design education and practice. Its evaluates a students's creativity, drawing abilities, innovativeness, and material-handling skills.

2. Personal Interview and Portfolio review.

NIFT Entrance Exam

There are 2 stage of Exam.
First Stage is GAT + CAT Exam.
Seond stage is Studio Test.

1. NIFT GAT Exam Online - in 2nd week of February of 100 marks for 100 questions: 40 marks for Design Apptitude & 60 marks for Drawing & Time - 2hrs. Negative marking 0.25 for every wrong answer. Its evaluate students quantitative, Communication, analytical abilities, and general knowledge, design aptitude, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
2. NIFT CAT Exam Offline - in 2nd week of February of 100 marks & Time - 3hrs.
Its practical aptitude and suitability for design education and practice. Its evaluates a students's creativity, drawing abilities, innovativeness, and material-handling skills. There are three Practical Drawing related question.
GAT- CAT Exam conducted on the same Day.
NIFT GAT - CAT result in Last week of April.
Only top 10- 20% Student eligible for Studio Test.

NATA (B.Architecture)Entrance Exam Eligibility:
12th passed OR will appear with PCM or 10+3 diploma (Maths).
(Entrance Exam Registration start in February)
Exam start from March to June -July. every Friday (afternoon session) and Saturday (morning and afternoon sessions)
Exam Pattern :
Part A (offline : drawing 80 marks, Time 90 min);
3 questions of composition, sketching, and 3D visualization.
Q1: (Composition/Color-25 marks): Rearrange shapes into a visually appealing 2D composition and color it suitably
Q2: (B&W Sketching-25 marks): Freehand scene sketch with perspective, proportion, shading
Q3: (3D Composition, ~30 marks): Stable 3D arrangement from given objects (e.g., pressure cooker, tennis ball, juice glass).
Part B (online MCQ/NCQ, 120 marks,, Time 90 min). 42 MCQs (1-3 marks each) and 8 NCQs testing maths, reasoning, GK, and architecture awareness.
Part A and B Total 200 marks and Total 3 hours paper. No negative marking.
NATA Result in within 7days after exam.
3 attempts in a year, best score add for Merit.
NATA qualifying-pass score requires 70/200 overall, plus 20/80 in Part A (drawing) and 30/120 in Part B.
NATA Highest Score is 70 to 90 %
NATA Cut off Score is 61 to 70 %
Colleges set higher cutoffs for selection based on seats and performance.

MH-AAC-CET (BFA) Entrance Exam
MH-AAC-CET is the Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test, conducted by the State CET Cell for admissions to BFA, B.Des, and related fine arts/applied arts courses in Maharashtra government and aided colleges.
Eligibility:
Passed/appearing 10+2 (any stream) from Maharashtra board or equivalent; no minimum marks or age limit specified.
(Entrance Exam Registration start in February via cetcell.mahacet.org. Results in May .
B.F.A Admision start in June-July.
Exam Pattern:
Offline (except GK online), 4 papers.
Total 190 marks, no negative marking.
There are 4 Subject for Exam.
1. 2D Design Drawing-1Q for 50marks, Time 90 min
2. Object Drawing-1Q, for 50 marks,Time 60 min
